Established in 2005, the Glenmary Missions and Ministries Endowment is a way of ensuring Father Bishop’s dream of having a Catholic Church presence in every U.S. county.
As the endowment fund grows, earnings will provide Glenmary with a reliable source of funding well into the 21st century. Those earnings will be used to provide funds for current and new missions, help support lay professional ministers, supplement important programs and services, and make possible other initiatives that enrich the overall quality of Glenmary’s ministry. There are many ways to contribute to the Glenmary Missions and Ministries Endowment.
- Establish named endowments within the larger endowment with a gift of $25,000 or more. These endowments often bear the name of the donor or their family members and serve to honor or memorialize those individuals. Contributions can be made at any time to an already existing named endowment.
- Make gifts to the endowment through a bequest, a retirement account or a trust.
- Make individual gifts to the endowment of at least $1,000 a year.
- Pledge a gift to the endowment.
However donors choose to support the fund, their generosity is appreciated. That appreciation comes from not only those who are presently being served in the U.S. home missions—it comes also from future generations who will benefit from Glenmary’s ministry of bringing a Catholic presence to areas where previously there was none.
Let Us Customize a Package for You!
The Glenmary Missions and Ministries endowment fund is an opportunity for our mission partners to make a gift that will go on in perpetuity.
