Sixth Friday of Easter

Daily Reflection

Sixth Friday of Easter

Chosen by the Lord

From today’s Scripture: Do not be afraid. Go on speaking, and do not be silent, for I am with you.—Acts 18:10

Like the first followers of Jesus, each of us, at Baptism, was chosen by the Lord to come and follow him. It may have taken a while for the reality of that call to sink in. Maybe you still are growing in an awareness of that call. That is the amazing thing about our call, that Jesus never grows tired of waiting for us and desiring to walk with us.

Let us pray: Lord, thank you for calling me to be a part of you and a part of others on the journey of life. May you bless all of us to live more faithfully as your followers.
