Daily Reflection

Seventh Thursday of Easter

The Lord is my shepherd

From today’s Scripture: “Keep me, O God, for in you I take refuge.”Ps 16:1

The psalms often convey a message of safety and hope.Today’s psalm and others, like Psalm 23 (“The Lord is my shepherd”) have an inner beauty. They invite us to experience and come to know the deep concern and love of Jesus for us. When one is loved by Jesus, nothing else matters. He will feed us and help us even through the darkest of times.

Let us pray: God, you are my protector, my shepherd. Help me to follow your ways and to trust in your love.
