Members of the Glenmary family are pooling their efforts to offer a single reflection by email every morning to people everywhere, both in English and in Spanish. The reflection is inspired by the day’s readings from Mass, with a touch of life in the missions or in the everyday.
Each reflection contains a verse or two of the day’s Scripture readings and a short prayer. It’s written by a member of the Glenmary family, from priests to Brothers to lay coworkers. They’re meant to take a minute or less to read, including the very short prayer. The goal is to provide readers with inspiration and an opportunity of prayer throughout their day.
One reader says, “Today’s daily reflection was great. I shared [part of the reflection] with a number of friends. Some liked it so much I forwarded the whole email. Thank you.” Actually, we hear that type of comment regularly. These are appreciated by people who want something simple, to the point, that helps to deepen their prayer life a little, or maybe just get on the right track.
