From today’s Scripture: “He is not God of the dead but of the living. You are greatly misled.”—Mk 12:27
Jesus affirms the reality of the resurrection and the hope we profess as Catholics. This truth is not meant to remain abstract, but to shape how we live and serve, reminding us that our mission is to bring the hope of eternal life into a world often focused only on the present. We are called to witness boldly through acts of charity, especially among those most in need, showing by our lives that Christ has conquered death and that his promise of new life is real and offered to all.
Let us pray: Lord Jesus Christ, you are the God of the living and the conqueror of death. Strengthen our faith in the promise of the resurrection and free us from doubt and fear.
