Glenmary Home Missioners is Catholic society of priests and religious brothers who, along with lay coworkers, are dedicated to serving the spiritual and material needs of people living in mission counties in Appalachia and the South. With missionary job opportunities, Glenmary serves 1) the Catholic minority, by establishing a Church presence in areas where frequently less than 1 percent of the total population is Catholic; 2) the unchurched, by testifying to our faith in mission regions where a significant percentage of the people have no church affiliation; and 3) people who live in poverty, through our outreach and work for social justice in counties where the poverty levels are almost twice the national average.

Glenmary Home Missioners is seeking a Content Manager: Social Media/Journalism
This Content Manager is a creative and focused multimedia journalist, responsible for managing Glenmary’s social media accounts and digital media efforts across several platforms and departments; supporting print publications through story gathering, writing, and photography; and collaborating with coworkers, missioners, and key contacts within the Glenmary network on various projects, mostly in English; but sometimes in Spanish.
The Content Manager works on a four-person team to support Glenmary’s communications efforts; and collaborates with its various departments.
This is a full-time position in Fairfield, Ohio (metro Cincinnati) for those within commuting distance; remote work possible for those living in mission regions (Ohio, Kentucky, Tennessee, Georgia, North Carolina).
