From today’s Scripture: “And they said to her, ‘Woman, why are you weeping?’ She said to them, ‘They have taken my Lord, and I don’t know where they laid him.’”—Jn 20:13
I often hear the phrase “lean in” which implies that we are to get started and work hard, embrace what is in front of you and hopefully even make sense of something.
Mary Magdalene not only leaned into the empty tomb, she ran to share this news. Scared, not knowing exactly what was happening, she leaned in, she ran, and she shared the news.
Let us pray: Loving God, give us the ability to embrace the unknown with joy and excitement. Give us the ability to share the good news: HE IS RISEN. Even if we do not fully understand, we can lean in, we can celebrate and one day our excitement will come to fruition.
