Believe it.
From today’s Scripture: “He said to them, ‘Go into the whole world and proclaim the Gospel to every creature.’”—Mk 16:15
Missionary activity is at the heart of the Church. If this Good News is so good, we are compelled to shareit with others. Will they all believe it? Not likely. Not everyone invited to the party trusts that it will really be a good time.
How can we persuade people otherwise? Each of us is challenged to find what is good about the Good News and live it. People should notice something different about us, don’t you think? Something passionate, joyful? Ask any advertiser.
Let us pray: Loving God, light your fire in my heart! Give me joy today. Help me to witness your love to the people around me.
