Thy will be done.
From today’s Scripture: “Mary said, ‘Behold, I am the handmaid of the Lord. May it be done to me according to your word.’”—Lk 1:38
To have a heart like Mary! She was so willing to do the Lord’s will, even though she knew of the challenges and the heartache she would endure. I can only imagine the thoughts and feelings she must have had when the angel Gabriel delivered the news. Above all, she knew this was the Lord’s plan and as His servant, she wholeheartedly said, Yes.
Let us pray: Lord, help us say yes to you today, and help us endure any hardships that come our way. Let us strive to be steadfast servants!
