From today’s Scripture: “If I speak in human and angelic tongues but do not have love, I am a resounding gong or a clashing cymbal.” — 1 Corinthians 13:1
This scripture reminds me of a Spanish saying my husband often uses: “las palabras se las lleva el viento,” which means “words without action are just words.” We are called to love, to show our love for others through our actions.
Let us pray: God, may the words that I speak carry the action of your love and not be the noise of a clashing cymbal.
