From today’s Scripture: “Jesus turned around and saw her, and said, ‘Courage, daughter! Your faith has saved you.’ And from that hour the woman was cured.”—Mt 9:22
Waiting is difficult. Whether we are waiting for healing, guidance, or in the drive-through lane when you’re already hangry. It’s tough.
Today’s Gospel mentions two people who have exhausted all other options and still approach Jesus with faith, believing that he can do what they cannot.
Faith does not erase waiting. Rather, it strengthens us to trust in God rather than ourselves.
Let us pray: Lord, grant me patience in times of waiting and the faith to trust in your timing.
