From today’s Scripture: “Have you not read this Scripture passage: The stone that the builders rejected has become the cornerstone; by the Lord has this been done, and it is wonderful in our eyes?”—Mk 12:10

This parable calls us to see our lives and ministries as God’s vineyard, entrusted to us for the sake of his mission. We are not owners but stewards sent to bear fruit for others, especially those on the margins. When we resist or turn inward, we fail the mission, but Christ, the rejected cornerstone, remains the foundation. Rooted in him, we are sent to go outward, proclaim the Gospel, and bear fruit through service, justice, and love.

Let us pray: Lord of the vineyard, you have entrusted us with your mission. Root us in Christ, the cornerstone, and send us to bear fruit in love and service. Amen.
