From today’s Scripture: “Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away.”—Lk 21:33

This biblical passage is an invitation to orient our lives according to the word of God. Jesus reminds us that he and his word are eternal, while all creation is temporary.

However important they may seem, our work and possessions will cease to exist. Thankfully, so will our debts! But the word of our father and his promises will endure forever.

Let us pray: Jesus, inspire us to seek and know your word better, which is the word of God the Father.
