From today’s Scripture: “Lord, teach us to pray…”—Lk 11:1
Prayer is infinitely deep since it is connecting us with the infinite God. We can always grow in our life of prayer, not from a sense of responsibility, but rather from a place of love.
Often, we learn to pray from other people or from a book. Today would be a good day to ask the Lord to teach you how he wants you to pray—right here and right now. Not someone else’s prayer, but your own.
Let us pray: Lord, help us to remember that prayer is less about words and more about a relationship with you. Help us to listen to you and to live out of prayer throughout the day.
