27th Thursday in Ordinary Time

Where is God?

From today’s Scripture: “‘And I tell you, ask and you will receive; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.’”—Lk 11:9

Have you ever had the feeling that God is not listening to your prayers? You pray and pray, Where is God? Why is there no response from God? Yet there is a response from God, one that we do not hear or maybe we do not want to hear.

Our loving God has a plan for each of us. Do we listen to our hearts? Jesus wishes to dwell in our hearts. Our response is that we open our hearts to the Lord. Our response always comes down to faith in opening ourselves to God and following Him.

Let us pray: Loving Lord, I continue to seek your help and guidance through prayer. Help me today to listen, and to keep knocking on your door. You are life in the fullest.
