From today’s Scripture: “Do not deal unfairly, then; but stand in fear of your God. I, the LORD, am your God.”—Lev 25:17

This is such a powerful message. The message is so simple, but in action it can sometimes be hard.

This reminds of a time I was buying flowers in a small shop in Mexico. The florist gave me incorrect change, she gave me more money back than what I had initially given her. As soon as she gave me the money, I realized this and gave her what was owed to her. As we walked away, she praised God, for this was her profit that would help feed her family.

Let us pray: Heavenly Father, help me to be righteous in my daily life and steer me away from actions that can drift me from your grace.
