From today’s Scripture: “For where your treasure is, there also will your heart be.”—Mt 6:21

A retreat director once told a group of Glenmarians, “If you want to know what you really believe, what is really important to you, follow your feet.” Sometimes, in our head, we say all the right answers: We treasure our faith and family. Yet, follow your feet. How often are they in church? How often are they walking and playing with family? Or where else may they have taken you?

So, as we try to understand what is our treasure and discover what we truly love, let us follow our feet. If they are not going in the right direction, let us listen to our faith GPS—recalculating—and go in a new direction.

Let us pray: O Lord, guide my feet and increase my love of family and faith. May your treasure be my treasure, too.
