Palm Sunday

Holy Week Header-3

From today’s Scripture: “Christ Jesus, though he was in the form of God, did not regard equality with God something to be grasped. Rather, he emptied himself, taking the form of a slave, coming in human likeness; and found human in appearance, he humbled himself, becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross.”—Phil 2:6-8

As we begin this most sacred of weeks, we ponder the core belief of our Christian faith.  It defies all human logic and experience and invites us into the greatest of mysteries:  we are loved beyond our ability to fully grasp. Unreservedly. Without limits. This week once again invites us to meditate on how much we are forgiven and loved. Jesus empties himself for you and for me.

Let us pray: Lord Jesus, come into my life once again and fill me with your life and love. You who are the image of the invisible God, shower me with your grace to encounter the one who is our Creator.
