Do you remember taking a car trip before the age of GPS? Your Atlas or AAA Triptik was essential for getting to your destination. Today, the mapping app on your phone can provide a variety of routes when you travel across the country or across town.

On our spiritual journey, Jesus is very clear. There is one — and only one — route, one way to God the Father and that is through Jesus his Son. To know Jesus is to know God. To act as Jesus acts — with obedience, love, and mercy — is to grow more deeply in our relationship with God and trust in his promise of eternal life.

Let us pray: Dear Lord, you constantly reassure us to “Be not afraid.” It is through you that we are saved and our place in your Father’s house is waiting. May I listen to you and live my life by your teachings, following your way into eternal life.
