Have faith.
From today’s Scripture: “Jesus said to the Jews: ‘Amen, amen, I say to you, whoever keeps my word will never see death.’”—Jn 8:51
Christians sometimes do not see the significance of their faith, but, in reality, it is a matter of life and death. When you and I pass from this life, we have no hope of eternal life except in Jesus.
We have no hope of resurrection from the dead and living gloriously as fully happy persons based on our education, our wealth, our reputation and standing in the community, but only on Jesus. That’s why our faith is so important.
Let us pray: Jesus, I do believe in you. I trust you, and I want to follow your way. Increase my faith and my desire to live like you.
