How do I live?
From today’s Scripture: “Your words, Lord, are Spirit and life; you have the words of everlasting life.”—Gospel acclamation
What a blessing it is for us to have the words of Jesus in the Gospels. Without them, how would we know how to live? How would we know the importance of living for others, or the necessity of forgiving others, or of loving all other people as ourselves?
Because the words of Jesus are spirit and life, we can live so much more fully by studying, praying, and living the words of Jesus in the four Gospels. It is a wonderful daily practice.
Let us pray: Jesus, you have blessed me beyond measure by living on earth, teaching me about our Father, and showing me how to live. May I live fully.
