From today’s Scripture: “This is my beloved Son with whom I am well pleased; listen to him.” — Mt 17:5

I remember ascending the mountain of the Transfiguration in Israel. We drove, but what a drive! We were above the clouds. There was no vision but a powerful sense of the presence of God. We just sat in the awareness of God’s words to the apostles. God speaks. God reveals who Jesus is. Be still and silent. Listen.

Let us pray: Lord, help me to be still and see your divine presence in my life today.
