From today’s Scripture: “Whoever wishes to come after me must deny himself; take up his cross and follow me.” — Mt 16:24

It is Friday. It is a good day to remember the cross. Jesus says we MUST take up the cross and follow him. I must offer up the little and the great crosses that come in my life. What are the crosses I have to bear? How can I bear them with Jesus?

Let us pray: Jesus, help me to joyfully make use of my crosses. Let me offer them for the world in need. Don’t let me waste them with complaining and sadness.
