From today’s Scripture: “Jesus appeared to the Eleven and said to them: ‘Go into the whole world and proclaim the Gospel to every creature. Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved.’”—Mk 16:15-16

The phrase “to every creature” reminds me of St. Francis, who would preach to the creation around him. The Church has continued to proclaim Jesus. And the Church is made of individuals like you and me, who are called to continue proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus.

Let us pray: May we be like Sts. Mark and Francis and joyfully proclaim the Gospel, the Good News of Jesus to all.
