From today’s Scripture: “You shall love the Lord, your God, with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.”—Mt 22:37
Today, the Church celebrates the queenship of Mary. Perhaps there is no human person that can embody this Gospel verse as Mary. She is the only human person who fully loved God with all her body, mind, and soul. Every moment, every thought was directed to God. Her only goal and purpose was to bring others to Christ.
Perhaps today we could ask ourselves how do we allow Mary as queen into our hearts more? How could she dominate our hearts so that through her, she can bring us fully to her son?
Let us pray: Mary, queen of my soul, help me to come closer to Christ. Reign over my heart so that Christ can be my all.
