Most Sacred Heart of Jesus

Web_OT Summer Email Header 2026 1

From today’s Scripture: “Come to me, all you who labor and are burdened.”—Mt 11:28

Jesus was extraordinarily compassionate toward the poor. He knew their burdens: little food. Hard labor. Inadequate shelter. Isolation. Anomy.

He not only knew their burdens, though. He also wanted to relieve them of their burdens. He was with them. He listened to them. He provided for them. He loved them. He gave everything for them.

If today our burden seems too great to bear, consider Jesus. He wants to relieve you, be with you, listen to you, provide for you, and love you. He gave everything for you.

Let us pray: Jesus, I come to you this day. Please help me. Let me know your Sacred Heart.
