From today’s Scripture: “Do not forget the works of the Lord!” — Psalm 78

We live such busy lives and at times take for granted how easily our lives flow. We grow accustomed to the “blessings” we receive and tend to see them as entitlements. I sometimes see this in my relationship with my husband. I forget that he does small gestures for me out of love and not because he has to, for example, bringing me flowers every week. I forget that it is through God’s mercy that he gave me such a wonderful husband.

Let us pray: God, I pray that I see your works in my life, from the blessing of waking up every morning to the people you have put in my life.
