12th Saturday in Ordinary Time

From today’s Scripture: “You may go; as you have believed, let it be done for you.”—Mt 8:13

In the Gospel, the centurion approaches Jesus with humility and trust, believing that even a single word from him has the power to heal. His faith reminds us that God can work powerfully even when we feel unworthy, distant, or overwhelmed by life’s struggles. Many times, we want immediate answers or visible signs, yet the Lord asks us to trust in his presence and his timing. True faith is not based only on what we see, but on the certainty that Christ is always near, bringing healing, strength, and hope to those who seek him with sincere hearts.

Let us pray: Lord, increase my faith and teach me to trust in your word. In moments of fear, uncertainty, or weakness, help me remember that you are present and at work in my life. Give me a humble heart that depends on you and the confidence to believe that your love can bring healing, peace, and new hope each day.
