From today’s Scripture: “Truly you have formed my inmost being; you knit me in my mother’s womb.”—Ps 139:13
Many people today search for happiness in things that quickly fade away, yet their hearts remain restless and empty. Our world often teaches us to place ourselves at the center of everything, forgetting that we are created by God and deeply dependent on his love. When we push God aside, anxiety and loneliness can grow within us because no earthly thing can fill the space meant for him. True peace is found when we recognize the gift of life, our dignity as his children, and the love that only God can give to the human heart.
Let us pray: Lord, thank you for the gift of life and for loving me from the very beginning. Fill my heart with your love so that I may seek fulfillment in you alone. Help me respect and protect the dignity of every human life, recognizing that all life is sacred because it comes from you.
