From today’s Scripture: “How narrow the gate and constricted the road that leads to life. And those who find it are few.”—Mt 7:14

Following the Lord is not always easy. The journey of faith often includes trials, sacrifice, and moments that test our trust in God. Jesus never promised a life without suffering; instead, he invited us to take up our cross and follow him. Yet even in difficult moments, we remember that we belong to a loving king whose crown was made of thorns. Our hope is found in the promise of eternal life with him. That promise gives us the strength to persevere, trusting that God walks beside us through every struggle and never abandons his children.

Let us pray: Lord, help me remain faithful on your path. Strengthen my steps when I grow weak and remind me that you are my shepherd. Even when the road feels dark or uncertain, help me trust that you are walking beside me.
