Fifth Sunday of Lent

Lent Email Header 2026_web

From today’s Scripture: “If one walks during the day, he does not stumble, because he sees the light of this world.”—Jn 11:9

If one walks in the Light of Christ, Christ will guide me in my walk of life. We all have pondered the poem “Footprints in the Sand.” We also have pondered the phrase, “A true friend is a treasure to have.” Lord, help me to put these two thoughts together and have a true friend in Jesus.

Let us pray: Lord, may I recognize you in my daily life and the events that affect my life.  Help me to put aside the blinders that prevent me from seeing your working in my life.
