Health clubs see a spike in attendance in January, but numbers greatly recede within a few weeks. After holiday indulgence, people sense they need to restore a balance to life. The same could be said for “spiritual balance.” Welcome to Lent — our 40-Day Revival! I believe if we found ourselves on a planet with no Lent, we’d start one because our spiritual barometer knows we need it. That said…have a great one!

Let us pray: Lord, thank you for the Church reminding me how important this season is for my spiritual life.
