34th Tuesday of Ordinary Time

OT Summer Email Header 2025-3

From today’s Scripture: “When you hear of wars and insurrections, do not be terrified.”—Lk 21:9

Panic is an extreme fear that can paralyze us. Jesus calls us to trust, as he does in other passages of the Gospel, where he tells us: “Do not be afraid.”

The temptation to panic can stem from personal situations at work, within the family, or even from wars and problems beyond our control. But God, who created not only the Earth but the entire universe, is greater than all of that.

Let us pray: Lord, give me the faith to trust in you and the strength to act according to your will.
