From today’s Scripture: “I give you a new commandment: love one another. As I have loved you, so you also should love one another.” —Jn 13:34
Loving others isn’t easy—the Scripture doesn’t mention only loving the people we like. It encompasses everyone, no matter how annoying or off-putting they are. What a tall order! Yet, with God’s help, we can do it. May we be inspired, each day, to cultivate our trust in God and do our best to love others.
Let us pray: Loving God, help us to believe more deeply in you, each day, as we seek to love one another as you love us.
