From today’s Scripture: “Rather, blessed are those who hear the word of God and observe it.”—Lk 11:28

I have heard several times that the longest foot is the distance between the brain and the heart. That is so true! The Word of God is to transform us, so that we become more like Jesus. We have heard Jesus’ parables and teachings over and over, yet do we live his teachings?

Maybe our question could be: What keeps us from following the Lord?

Let us pray: Loving Lord Jesus, I need your grace of being open to your word so that I can truly be your disciple. Help me today to open my heart.
