17th Monday in Ordinary Time

OT Summer Email Header 2025-3

From today’s Scripture: “The Kingdom of heaven is like a mustard seed that a person took and sowed in a field. It is the smallest of all seeds, yet when fully grown it is the largest of plants.” —Mt 13:31-32

The mustard seed is like our faith: we can plant the mustard seed, and once grown, it can provide shelter and relief to many. Our faith is the same; we can grow and live our faith through compassion, empathy, and love toward others in the hope that it can provide relief to those we encounter.

Let us pray: Lord, may I find refuge in you as the birds find refuge in the mustard tree.
