From today’s Scripture: “They have taken my Lord, and I don’t know where they laid him.” —Jn 20:13
Mary came searching at the tomb, and Jesus was right there close to her. What are our expectations about where Jesus comes to meet us? Maybe he meets us in church, holy places, or maybe within us. Maybe Jesus was standing right next to us. Jesus is calling within us, come to me and be saved. Jesus calls us to be one with him, but we are busy. Our phone is making noises, so we do not hear him. He calls us to spread the word, “I am love, and I love you. Tell the people around you what it means to know a God who will never cease loving you and much more.”
Let us pray: Father, remember me when Jesus comes into his kingdom. Holy Spirit, enlighten me now that I will seek the things that are above and be ready to let go of the things below.
