From today’s Scripture: “Jesus said in reply, ‘Ten were cleansed, were they not? Where are the other nine?’”—Lk 17:17
In two weeks, we will celebrate one of my favorite celebrations: Thanksgiving. Families gather to be together, often traveling miles to be present at the banquet. I love it. Before eating, we bow our heads and give thanks. I asked a friend from another country, do you celebrate Thanksgiving? His response was, no we believe every day is a day of thanksgiving. Do we—do I—remember to give thanks each day? Or do I forget? Jesus knows that I am thankful. Jesus loves to hear the words I am thankful. Let’s make each day a day of thanksgiving.
Let us pray: Lord, I love you. I thank you for all that you do for me and for all people.
