From today’s Scripture: “When he arrived and saw the grace of God, he rejoiced and encouraged them all to remain faithful to the Lord in firmness of heart…” —Acts 11:23
When Barnabas saw the grace of God, he rejoiced.
Where do I see the grace of God? I see it in the ladies who prepare meals for families that have lost a loved one. I see it in the many prayer groups that lift up the needs of others. I see it in the people serving food to the homeless. I see it in our priests as they minister to us. I see it in nurses as they care for the sick. I experience it through the love of my family and friends. The grace of God comes to me through the Sacraments. I see the grace of God when I seek it with open eyes and heart.
Let us pray: Lord, give me eyes to see your grace and a heart that rejoices in it.
