MOURNING THE PASSING OF POPE FRANCIS

Pope Francis waves to a crowd of people.

In the human and divine heart of Jesus, God wants to speak to the heart of every man and woman, drawing all of us to his love. —Pope Francis

Glenmary Home Missioners joins the global Church in mourning the death of Pope Francis. A shepherd to the world and a voice for the poor and marginalized, his life was a testament to compassion, humility, and courageous faith.

He reminded us time and again that the Church must be present, healing, and open to all. His legacy challenges us to be more loving, more just, and more present to those in need.

We offer our prayers for the repose of his soul and for the Church he so faithfully led. May Pope Francis rest in the peace of Christ and may his example continue to guide our mission.
