From today’s Scripture: “Give God the praise!”—Jn 9:24

Do you believe in miracles? I do. In our world, miracles are dismissed often, and we have a scientific answer. We pray for a miracle for a sick loved one. With the new medicine, healing comes. Thank the doctor. But where is God? Maybe he was guiding the doctor. Do we believe God’s hand was a part of the miracle?

In today’s Gospel, Jesus lovingly heals a blind man. The blind man can see. The Pharisees do not want to see that Jesus’ healing touch was the miracle. The Pharisees were blind to the goodness of Jesus. Even before his healing, the blind man could see the love of Jesus.

Are we sometimes blind to the miracles of Jesus? Our Lord calls us in faith to open our eyes so that we may see. See the daily miracles of life.

Let us pray: Lord Jesus, send your Spirit that I may see your healing power in my life.
