In partnership with The Church in Dialogue, an ecumenical ministry focused on engaging theological questions that have historically caused division within the church, Glenmary was pleased to host a conversation on Justification. Bringing together Catholics, Baptists and Lutherans this event sought to bring unity through thoughtful conversation and prayer.
“The Gift of Being Christian Together: An Ecumenical Statement of Fidelity and Recognition” is a one-page document that identifies areas of common ground among the two largest Christian groups in the world. It has been recommended by the US bishops’ Committee on Ecumenical and Interreligious Affairs and endorsed by the North American Baptist Fellowship.
