Meet some of the men who are dedicating their lives to Building God’s Kingdom:
Evarist Mukama and his other colleagues recently finished their novitiate and professed their First Oath with Glenmary on June 12th, 2025. This summer, he had the opportunity to experience a ministry immersion at Glenmary’s St. Teresa of Kolkata mission in Union County, Tennessee. He began his third year of theological studies at St. Meinrad on August 19th. He is a hardworking seminarian who brings many gifts and talents to Glenmary.
Moses Ndung’u entered formation with Glenmary in August 2023. He was admitted to the novitiate program in 2024 and made his First Oath in June, 2025. He completed a mission immersion experience at Holy Family mission in Early County, Georgia, this summer, where he assisted at Mass and with outreach ministry efforts in the local community. Moses recently returned to St. Meinrad to complete his second year of theological studies. He is a gifted young man who looks forward to serving the needs of all those he encounters in the Glenmary missions.
Br. Jude Smith joined Glenmary in January 2020 and professed his First Oath in June 2023. A native of Louisiana, he has served in Glenmary’s Georgia and Tennessee missions, focusing on ecumenical outreach and health and wellness initiatives. He recently completed a Spanish-language immersion program in Mexico. Br. Jude has a deep passion for serving the elderly and those in need, especially through health and wellness ministry. Known for his joyful spirit and constant encouragement, he brings energy and compassion to his work. He currently serves in Early County, Georgia, where he is active in ecumenical ministries, C-Hope Ministry, outreach at the Stewart County Detention Center, and El Refugio, a hospitality house for families visiting loved ones there. In addition, Br. Jude is a certified Volunteer Long-Term Care Ombudsman, advocating for residents in licensed care facilities across the six-county mission area of Southwest Georgia.

There are two housing facilities on our 10-acre site with enough space to accommodate groups of up to 25 people. Each house has a main living area, toilet, and shower. All living quarters have central heating and cooling.
