From today’s Scripture: “But I tell you the truth, it is better for you that I go.”—Jn 16:7
You know those moments when something big is about to change and you’re scared? Maybe desperately holding on to something that feels familiar until you’re forced to let go? That’s what I imagine the disciples must have been feeling at that moment of hearing it was better for Jesus to go. Sometimes God’s plan means letting go of what feels familiar or comfortable and trusting that something better is coming even if we can’t see it yet.
Let us pray: Lord, help me trust you when change is hard and believe that you are always leading me toward something good.
