From today’s Scripture: “Strive to enter through the narrow door, for many, I tell you, will attempt to enter but will not be strong enough.”—Lk 13:24
Someone asks Jesus if only a few are saved, and he doesn’t give a numerical answer, but a personal invitation: “Strive to enter through the narrow gate.” This makes me think that salvation doesn’t depend on how many people reach it, but on how I live my faith. That gate is demanding, where I must be willing to give up everything as that leads me to a full life in Christ.
Let us pray: Lord, you call me to enter the narrow gate. Give me strength and courage to follow you more closely.
