29th Tuesday in Ordinary Time

OT Summer Email Header 2025-3

From today’s Scripture: “Where sin increased, grace overflowed all the more.”—Rom 5:20

I write this reflection today for the one person reading these words who needs them right now: You can still turn back. No sin is beyond God’s forgiveness. You might not think what I write is true. But God’s word says it is so. Where sin has increased, grace can overflow—no matter what. Jesus gave himself to show us this is true.

So, if the shame is too much, if you desire a way out: Turn to God. Go to confession. Open your heart to his mercy. Turn back. You will see that his grace is real.

We will see that his promise has been kept.

Let us pray: Lord, help me to turn back to you and to receive your grace in this moment.
