From today’s Scripture: “My soul waits for the LORD more than sentinels wait for the dawn.”—Ps 103:6
Waiting is hard. Just try to explain to my two-year-old why we need to wait for dinner when she’s wanting a snack 30 minutes before we eat. Sometimes, like my daughter, it’s hard to see or understand what we’re waiting for. But we have trust, and faith, that God cares for us and has something much more fulfilling in store for us.
Let us pray: Lord, I trust in you. Teach me patience to wait for your goodness and trust in what you have planned for me.
