From today’s Scripture: “Rather, blessed are those who hear the word of God and observe it.” — Luke:11:28

It is almost inconceivable that there are people in this world who have not heard the word of God. I suppose it is possible, but it seems unlikely to me. There are people who have heard the word and choose to ignore it; we all have those friends and family members in our lives, but the request we receive through Scripture is to share the Good News, particularly with those who have not heard it. Perhaps we can also re-share this Good News with those who have heard and do not observe. Not to judge them, but to invite them into this beautiful love relationship.

Let us pray: Heavenly Father, we ask you for mercy upon those who ignore your words and for the desire to reintroduce them to you and the unconditional love you offer every day.
