From today’s Scripture: “Why do you notice the splinter in your brother’s eye, but do not perceive the wooden beam in your own?” — Lk 6:41

Let us reflect today upon whether or not we struggle with being judgmental toward those around us. Especially reflect upon whether or not we tend to be more critical of those struggling to live the Christian calling to “Be holy as your heavenly Father is holy.” (Mt 5:48). Let us remove the mask of pride that prevents us from seeing the log in our own eyes.

Let us pray: Lord, humble me and help me to be free of all pride. May I see others the way you want me to see them. Amen.
