Divine Mercy

Show of faith

From today’s Scripture: “Many signs and wonders were done among the people
at the hands of the apostles”—Acts 5:12

In the days leading up to Easter, I was busy doing home visits to the sick members of our Parish here in Nairobi. Many of our folks continue to believe in the power of prayer and the sacrament of the sick through which God’s Mercy and healing is revealed. The faith of our people despite many of them living in Poor conditions is a reminder that there is God and his Mercy endures forever.

Like we hear in the first reading today, believers in the Lord  of our own day, continue to increase in a world that has grown weary of God’s mercy.

Let us pray: “Bless us, Lord, with your mercy and heal our world.”
